Welcome to the Qamber Kids Blog: Children’s Book Illustrators & Designers

by Jennifer Silverwood, August 16, 2015

A while ago, the Qamber Kids Team decided it would be fun to start a blog to add to our Illustration/Designing repertoire. We have each had experience blogging in the past, so you may find each post written by a different member of our team, offering their fun perspective. We are excited to use this blog to share exciting news and features in the future. Since not everyone reading this is familiar with Qamber Kids, we wanted to start by sharing a little about us and what we do.

Who We Are

Qamber Kids is an extension of Najla Qamber Designs, dedicated to guide you to great illustrators and create typography and paperback design for Children, Middle Grade and Clean Young Adult Books. Qamber Kids works with illustrated stock photos (photos bought online), artwork that can be and has already been produced. We place the artwork in book format (ebook and paperbacks), add in the text (title, back text, etc.) and make any alterations that fit your needs.

The Qamber sisters love collaborating with other artists in a variety of mediums to do typesetting and other book layout help they or authors may need. We offer a variety of services, including book covers, typography, print design, bookmarks, vinyl banners, roll up banners, post cards, logos, Facebook covers, teasers and many other marketing materials.

Some of What We’ve Done

We are very proud to share illustrations from artists around the world. Some of the pieces you’ll see below were for typesetting, cover layouts and occasionally, a cover completely designed by the Qambers. To view our full portfolio, please follow the link: http://qamberkids.com/qamber-kids

What’s Next?

Over the following weeks, we will be featuring each of our wonderful Illustrator Team in a series of interviews. Not only will we be asking them insider questions about their artistic techniques, but you’ll also see an exclusive glimpse of their favorite projects. We hope to use this upcoming feature so you have a chance to get to know us all better. And so we can talk books & art of course. Meanwhile, we’d love if you’d connect with us on our Facebook Page and Twitter.

If you enjoyed this post, please don’t hesitate to leave some love in the comments section below. Keep creating!
